Get some bats!! Bats are very, very good! They eat lots of insects... fewer than one-half of one percent of them actually have rabies... and they really don't like to fly around in your hair. We finally received our official NWF Backyard Wildlife Habitat Certificate!

A good project to get involved in is the National Wildlife Federation's "Backyard Wildlife Habitat". You learn all about the necessary ingredients to create a Backyard Wildlife Habitat while creating your very own. I suggest becoming involved in this project to anyone. If you are interested in finding out more, go to the National Wildlife Federations website by clicking on the link below. We have been working on our backyard for a total of about 2 years now and have finally sent off our application. We are just waiting to hear if we have been "approved".
