Humble Wildlife WebCam

If there is no image, this requires a java-enabled browser

Hi folks! Welcome to the experimental WebCam Page. You can zoom in or out on the image. You can also control the way the images change when they are updated.

If you don't see an image at all, try going to the "No-Java" HW Webcam page. You will have to reload or refresh your screen via your browser to view the changing images.

Click here to return to the regular Java WebCam.

If you are wondering what birds you might be looking at, here's a list of the most likely candidates:

About the webcam page...

The software that is uploading the images to our ftp sight is called Oculus. We are using the beta (version 3) program. This software program is written for Macintosh and seems to be working great. The software is available as shareware and only costs $20 dollars should you decide to use it. You can go to their website to learn more by following the link here: Oculus Software

The Java applet that is updating your browser with each new image was quickly put together by Gordy. He is currently working on a version that allows you to choose the method in which each image replaces the next, as well as allows you to "zoom" in on a photo if you choose.

If you have questions about the Java-applet that is updating the images, email Gordy If for some reason your images aren't updating, you may need to update your browser with the java plugins. You can do that by going to your browser's main website and following their links to updates.
